We were just about to start our second set at the Sly Fox last night when we saw the phenomenal final shot by LeBron James.  Unreal.  Go Cavs!

It really turned the atmosphere around.  Everyone was feeling good, and we had a great time playing for the first time since Scotty’s return from Tennessee.

Tonight we return to Johnny Malloy’s in Medina – the fun continues!  Hope to see you there.

Admittedly we were a little bummed that we had to play a show during game 3 this past Saturday night.  However, we got to see the first half of the Cavs game on the Greenville’s big projection TV (and the other countless monitors around the bar).  Awesome!

Ultimately everyone (including us) got to enjoy another Cleveland basketball victory.   Right ON!  We did have to play for most of the second half, but everyone was up to the task of enjoying Skinny Moo music while watching the game.  And when the game was over, everything kicked into high gear.  People were celebrating like mad fools!

There was the guy who fell backwards over one of our monitor speakers, then bounced up and fell down again.  It looked like a cartoon.  Scotty had to do a double-take to make sure it really happened.  Then there was the lovely young lady who fell into Charley’s drum kit – she said it was a shoe malfunction.  Possibly caused by Jagermeister.

Another partygoer fell into the drum kit as well.  We would like to offer up the following public service announcement:

“Drums have lots of sharp edges and poke-y metal rods and stuff, so unless you want to wake up with a hangover, one eye, and a bill for drum repair, be drunk while far away from the drums!”

All told, it was a fun night of revelry and everyone enjoyed themselves, including us.  We look forward to our return to the ‘Ville in July.

We haven’t had many opportunities to get back to Medina this year, so when we were invited to return to the legendary Rustic Hills Country Club in Medina… well, we clicked our heels together with impish glee.  Or something like that.  It was an epic evening full of mojitos, rock and roll, mint juleps, horses, booty-shaking funkiness, and maybe some Red Bull.

Seriously, though, it was a blast.  Fun party people who really know how to enjoy a good time.  As a result, we mixed it up with abandon – a little “Highway To Hell” stuffed sideways into “Brick House”?  Why not?  Some Snoop Dogg sprinkled in to every other song?  Sure.  A tiny little dose of “Stranglehold”?  Yep, that too.

We can’t wait to get back to Medina on Friday, May 23 for our show at Johnny Malloy’s. It is our profound hope that all of the ladies that romped on Charley’s, um, kit, will join us again for a mind-melting good time.  You’re invited, too, of course.
