Hi all!  We hope you enjoyed the first official weekend of summer.  Skinny Moo brought in the season with a fun show at the Bedford Winking Lizard, and then a crazy private party the following day/night.  We loves us some summertime!

We thought we’d let you know that Summertime is birthday season for much of the Moo.  Jay and Jeff celebrate their birthdays in June, and Chach-o’s birthday  is coming up in August.

Join us this weekend when we celebrate Jeff’s birthday at West Park Station (Friday) and the Rush Hour Grille (Saturday). You can get yourself a present to celebrate the occasion: Jeff’s new solo album is available at his website jeffendemann.com.

Oh yeah, we had some fun last night.  The Winking Lizard is a fine establishment that always treats us well.  We enjoyed a tent to protect us from the (mercifully brief) rain, tasty burger baskets, refreshing libations, and a killer patio crowd that hung around all night.

It was a fun show that everyone enjoyed, from the little rock-and-rollers to the most grown up of the grown-ups.  And we dropped some tunes from out of nowhere: “Cecilia”, “Roadhouse Blues”, “Mustang Sally”, and a tasty piece of “It’s Tricky”.  None of that stuff is in our regular repertoire, so we were just as surprised as everyone else!

We’re off to play a private party tonight, but we’ll be out next Friday at West Park Station, and you can catch us next Saturday at the refreshed Rush Hour on Snow Road in Parma.  Hope to see you then!

We had a couple weeks off to replenish our essential juices, and we’re coming back this weekend to kick off the summer season.  Woo HAW!

We’ll be playing outside at the Winking Lizard in Bedford (weather permitting, of course) from 6:00 until 10:00 this Friday June 19th.  It’s a great atmosphere – patio, happy hour, great food and Skinny Moo music!

It’s fun for the whole family, too – if you’re not careful, your little boopie might get a rock and roll lesson. Then you’ll have to start buying guitars, drums, amplifiers… well, come on out anyway!  We all hope to see you there.

UPDATE UPDATE: The forecast is looking pretty promising for tomorrow, so we’re going ahead with the patio!  If anything changes, we’ll post it here first.
