We hope to see you there!

Friday December 11: Last Johnny Malloy’s show of 2015!

Tuesday, December 8th, 2015

Hey Medina! We’re wrapping up a fun year with our last Johnny Malloy’s show of 2015. Let’s make it a strong one and celebrate the holiday season together.

Thanks for a great 2015 – we’re looking forward to continued awesomeness with you next year…

Saturday December 12: Last Greenville show of 2015!

Tuesday, December 8th, 2015

Hard to believe, but another year is rapidly going into the history books. We hope you made it a good one.

We have had a good time in 2015, and we’re going to continue that trend at our last Greenville Inn gig of the year on Saturday 12/12. It’s an early birthday celebration for our resident keyboardist Scotty, and a celebration of the holiday season in general, so we hope you can join us around the Yule Moose and enjoy a night of fun and frolic!

Sunday May 24: Roundup Lake Campground (Mantua)

Tuesday, May 12th, 2015

Last year we had the opportunity to play at Roundup Lake, and what a fun time it was – we set up facing the huge lake, and crowds of golf-cart-driving campers filled the shore and partied all night.

We’re heading back for another round this Memorial Day weekend as we perform on Sunday May 24. It’s a fun campground, so bring a tent or RV (or whatever camping gear you prefer) and make a night of it!

Saturday March 14: “St. Practice Day” at Johnny Malloy’s (Medina)

Jay drinks green beer

Mmmmm... green.

You know, sometimes St. Patrick’s Day falls on an inopportune party day – like a Tuesday, for example. And although that won’t necessarily dissuade the planners out there (saved a day off for Wednesday, did ya?), wouldn’t it be nice to be able to celebrate appropriately without burning some vacation? You know, something like a “pre-holiday”, if you will.

Well we here at Moo HQ would like to let you know that you’ve reached the end of your personal rainbow.  And there’s a pot of funky gold there, my friend. We like to call it “St. Practice Day“.

Yes, we will be hosting a (not) dry run of St. Paddy’s at that Medina jewel Johnny Malloy’s. Join us on Saturday night for all things green. It’ll be just like the real thing, except that you can sleep in with impunity on Sunday morning!

Saturday December 13: Skinny Moo at Johnny Malloy’s in Medina

Monday, December 8th, 2014

Take a break from your holiday preparations and let loose with Skinny Moo this Saturday at Johnny Malloy’s in Medina. We are excited to be performing for our 14th consecutive season (give or take, depending on who you ask ;-)).

We hope your holiday season is spectacular, and wish all of you the best. We’ve got this show and one more coming up to round out 2014, so we hope to see you at one or both.

First annual Christmas show at Johnny Malloy’s in Medina

Happy Holidays from Skinny Moo

We’re excited to be playing our first Christmas show this Friday December 23rd at Johnny Malloy’s in Medina. We look forward to a festive evening, celebrating all the holiday traditions – you know, like Christmas Ale, rock and/or roll, Jagerbombs, errr… yeah, all kinds of stuff.

Your presence will be present enough for the evening. In return we will be unwrapping musical Moo concoctions all evening for your booty-shaking pleasure.

In all seriousness, thanks again for making 2011 another fabulous year for five guys that love making music for you.

Happy Holidays from Jay, Jeff, Charley, Mike and Scott.

Happy Memorial Day

Monday, May 30th, 2011

We’d like to remember all the fine folks that have served in the U.S. military. We’re grateful for all of your sacrifices.

Hopefully everyone is having a restful holiday weekend! We put in our rock and roll time this weekend with two shows (the Winking Lizard on Friday and Johnny Malloy’s in Medina on Saturday), so we’re going to chill and grill today.

Enjoy the pics posted in the galleries! With summer schedules being what they are, we’ll be off until July, but when we come back we come back with a vengeance – check the schedule to get ready.

Happy Independence Day

Skinny Moo wants to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. We hope to see you at some upcoming shows!

A Weekend To Remember

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

Hey, we hope everybody had a stellar holiday weekend.  We enjoyed a night at the Boneyard in Mayfield last Friday, and an insane private party on Sunday.

Boneyard graffitoWe were thrilled to see that our load-in at the Boneyard has been transformed from dingy concrete loading dock (with rivulet of trash juice through which gear had to be dragged) to spectacular outdoor patio.  Seriously, there’s an outdoor bar, a huge stone fireplace, lots of seating, propane heaters for the cooler Cleveland months.  Very impressive.

The downside is that the “green room” has taken a major hit – while it’s still the source of some of the most entertaining graffiti in town (see the image over there for a sample), we had to be careful since it seemed like it’s under construction.  Or possibly just a repository for construction debris.  Hopefully they’re adding a kegerator (for bands only, HEY, get away from our kegerator!).

We had a great time, made some new friends, and caught up with some old friends.  We’re looking forward to returning to the Boneyard on November 7th.

The private party on Sunday was as we expected: rocking.  We have played at several other parties thrown by the same people (who are just fun, solid folks), and every time it’s been fantastic.  There was a huge tent housing the bar, with lots of tubs of chilled adult beverages.  There was the sun room, stuffed to the rafters with amazing food.  And then there was Skinny Moo.

We had a great time doing our thing, and it was really enjoyable to see so many people digging the vibe.  We played longer than we expected, but it was gratifying because people were dancing and having a great time.  We look forward to playing as many parties as our friends in Aurora can throw.

We’re pulling off a private party tomorrow night (Jay has alleged that he will sing while roller-skating – Scotty will not forget his camera), and will be returning to action on Friday September 18th at the Bedford Winking Lizard.

Around that time we’ll be announcing some really kick-ass Skinny Moo news, so hopefully we’ll see you at the show.  Otherwise, sign up on the mailing list if you haven’t already so we can keep you up to date.
