Jump back to where you once belonged

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

Man, that Jump Back Ball is one big party.  From the theater stage filled with dancing and bars and music to the lobby filled with… well, dancing and bars and music, what’s not to like?

We have to say thanks to everyone involved with the event (except for the overzealous dude who took some food out of Mike’s hands at the very end of the night, chastising Mike that it wasn’t “for take out”) for being really supportive and generally fun to be around.  Big Skinny Moo group hug for Emily, who helped us navigate the setup and execution of a rocking gig.

For the first time in 10 years, Skinny Moo had a dressing room.  We didn’t quite know what to do.  We showed up already dressed!  Next time we’ll know better.

We enjoyed the chance to see the Spazmatics perform on the theater stage.  Lots of fun, great sound, and everyone was enjoying some ’80s flashback action.

We took the lobby stage at 11:00 and delivered over 90 minutes of down and dirty, funktacular rock in our own special style.  The crowd was in it for the long haul, too.  Thanks to everyone who hung out and finished the night in sweaty tuxedo/dress style.

Photos will be coming soon!
