The view from the stage (or the floor, depending on where we’re playing) varies from place to place.  Some places get more crowded than others.  Some joints are full of dancers, while others are full of watchers.

All we saw on Saturday night at Johnny Malloy’s in Medina were booty-shaking party people.  That’s literally all we could see – a wall of people dancing all night long to the sound of Skinny Moo.  The windows got steamed up, ladies and gents got sweaty, and everybody funked out.  It was awesome!

In fact, it was so packed at the place, some friends of the band came up during a break and asked, “What’s going on here tonight?”  They were wondering if there was some kind of event or party going on.  Scotty’s response: “Umm, a Skinny Moo show?”  That was worth a chuckle…

If you like nights like that (and really, who doesn’t?) then put Saturday April 24th on your calendar, because that’s when we return to Johnny Malloy’s.  We also posted some pics in the gallery.

We also enjoyed dropping some new material on Saturday, as well as revisiting some songs that we haven’t played in years.  Our quest to refresh in 2010 is off to a great start.

We continue our quest for musical enlightenment at Cabana’s in Mentor this Saturday.  We hope you’ll join us there!

The Moo boys have been busy the last few weeks, bringing in 2010 in Medina, playing at a private party (have you recovered yet, Mary?) and then rocking the Greenville this past weekend.  Some pictures from the ‘Ville are posted in the gallery.

Scotty is still on the mend from his unfortunate accident, but he’s enjoyed the healing power of Moo music at the last few shows, so hopefully he’ll be crutch-free soon.

Skinny Moo has resolved to freshen things up in 2010 with new additions to the Moo repertoire.  We’ll be convening this week, in fact, to see what we can cook up before we head to Johnny Malloy’s in Medina on Saturday the 23rd.  It should make for an interesting evening, so we hope to see you there!

All of us in Skinny Moo want to say thank you for consistently coming out, supporting the places we play, and having a great time with us.  It’s hard to believe, but we’re approaching a major milestone in Skinny Moo history, and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you soon.

We’ve got lots of shows booked for 2010, and we’re planning a few special surprises as well.  We look forward to having a blast with you as we step into a new decade!
